Our wonderfully worldly couple Amy and Simon have travelled just about everywhere together, so when they got engaged in the depths of New Zealand’s South Island at Milford Sound - the ultimate question was “Where to have the wedding!?”  

Being from different parts of the country – Amy from Perth and Simon from Hobart – it seems only fair that their beloved friends and family travel to the northern most capitol in the world... because, why not! 

 

Both working as teachers, their January wedding was perfectly planned around the school holiday period and the advantageous timing could not have been more perfect! Their mutual deep-seated allure to the magic of a northern hemisphere winter having been fostered while living in Europe together meant the captivating Icelandic wintery wilderness ticked all the right boxes! Opting for something out of the ordinary gave our intrepid lovebirds the freedom to break the rules!! 

 

The spectacular lighting and dramatic landscapes, not to mention Amy’s audacious red hair, really stepped these amazing wedding photos up a few notches! Our gorgeous bride looks just stunning in her M&A Snow Aimer Cape and adorned in that magnificent Game of Thrones-esque headpiece!!!!  The multifaceted style of our timeless Aimer Cape means all of our beautiful winter brides can put their own unique stamp on it!
